The U.S. stock markets represent the biggest single concentration of wealth in history. That’s due to the size of the U.S. economy and the highly regulated nature of U.S. markets.

No other financial market is as large, accessible, transparent, and liquid as the U.S. market. Many of the world’s biggest global growth companies, such as Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Google (FAANG) are listed in the US.

There are many reasons for Malaysian investors to own stocks listed in the U.S. In the last decade, the S&P 500 index has delivered returns of around 300%, while Malaysia’s equivalent the FBM KLCI returned a measly 26% for the same period.
